Question about Microsoft Surface Book 3
Good day I have purchased a Surface Book 3 from you. I have the docs for it with the 2 Mini DP. I would like to connect 3 x 27 inch screens. I have solved it as follows. 1. mini DP I have connected a display splitter so that I can connect 2 screens via normal DP. 2nd Mini DP is connected directly to the screen. This combination allows me to connect 3 screens. I have this at work. I have a Surface connected with 3 screens and it works perfectly. Question 1: When I connect the screen via DP min to DP the screen flickers. No matter which one I connect, it flickers. What is the problem? It can't be the hardware. I have even connected 2 screens via Mini DP and both flicker. 2 Question I have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 on 2 screens and the resolution is not possible on the third. Actually it should not be a problem to have the same resolution on all 3 as the screens are identical. The screen is separated on the Surface. Thanks for your help
Hi! If the monitors do not flicker when working with the same configuration and direct connection, we can fortunately already rule out a defect in the Surface. đź‘Ť
Unfortunately, remote diagnosis is always a bit tricky - for example, is the refresh rate (Hz) set correctly? Do different DP cables behave differently?
