Does this strap also start to stink over time? I have already had 2 different Garmin straps and both developed an unpleasant odour after a few weeks (not sweat, but similar to overheated electronics). Unfortunately, regular washing doesn't help either. Not even a bath in Javel water helped.

The belt is washed regularly and I have had no problems with odours or even smells for several years.

I wash the belt by hand in mild detergent every time and don't have this problem.
