Question about Hager Programming Bluetooth key

EGN003 does not work with EG103 for me.

When I plug in the programming key, the timer shows "rubbish" on the display for a moment and then restarts.
Or it doesn't start at all and remains dark.
Reset then restarts it (-, +, ok, press menu buttons simultaneously for a few seconds).

The way I read it, it should fit. Here are some datasheets and manuals for you to read.
