Does this device have a "shutdown software" that shuts down the Synology NAS in an emergency? Thanks

Hi, this works if you connect the UPS and the Synology via a USB cable (order separately, USB type B to A), mfg
No - does not have a corresponding interface.
There is a compatibility list on the Synology homepage - it is worth studying it (the list is very extensive).
