Does this camera only work on mains power? If so, which model should I choose?
Yes, the camera needs power directly from the mains 😉
Unfortunately, I can't answer which model you should choose. This depends entirely on your needs (indoor, outdoor, placement on a surface or on the wall/ceiling, connection to the network via cable or WLAN, higher or lower resolution, etc.)
I use the Tapo C520WS Outdoor indoors, connected to the network via WLAN, mounted on the curtain rail, but I wanted to be equipped for all other areas of application and have the same model everywhere 😏😎
