Does the Horizon Ultra work with a soundbar via Bluetooth? Does anyone have any experience with this? I have now mounted the projector on the ceiling, which works very well with the XGIMI ceiling mount. The sound is quite ok with the integrated Harman Kardon, at night I also use the Bluetooth headphones, which work quite well. In this respect, a soundbar would be quite conceivable to improve the cinema experience. For example, would the Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 8 or 9 be something? Does it work well with Bluetooth? I would prefer to avoid HDMI eARC as I would have to run a very long cable from the projector across the room... Thanks for feedback and recommendations.
Hello Jörg
I also run the sound for the XGIMI Horizon Ultra projector via Bluetooth. I have a Lindeman music book, which even switches on automatically and switches to Bluetooth input. Works great so far and there's nothing to complain about with the sound.
So the question is rather what the soundbar can do!
Greetings Michel
Hi Jörg
Our XGIMI Horizon Ultra works perfectly with the LG DSN8YG soundbar.
Best regards
According to my research, only stereo sound can be transmitted via Bluetooth. Dolby Surround, Atmos, etc. only work with any device via HDMI. I have an AppleTV connected to the Horizon Ultra and a Sonos soundbar connected to it with an HDMI cable. Only the rear speakers are connected to the soundbar via WLAN.
