Does Starter Kit mean that I can buy additional adapters and thus distribute my LAN via the mains in one or more additional rooms? Or is there no possibility of expansion?

If I remember correctly, you can even use devices from other manufacturers if they comply with the HomePlug AV or HomePlug AV2 standard. The network speed then adapts to the weakest device.

For the best possible performance and security, it is best to use the same adapters to expand your network.
