Does anyone know if devices (e.g. smartphones) can also be charged via the USB 2.0 and 3.0 interface of the monitor? If so, with how many watts? Unfortunately, I can't find any information about this on the manufacturer's website.
It is possible to charge a smartphone via the USB-A interfaces. However, a lot of charging current does not come through, charging is slow. I can't find any corresponding information anywhere, but I suspect 5V / 0.5A, i.e. 2.5W - which would correspond to the USB 2.0 specifications. It's unlikely to be more, but it could be less.
I have connected my laptop (HP EliteBook) to the monitor via USB-C for image, sound and power transmission. Charging works perfectly.
Charging smartphones via the USB interface also works. However, I cannot give any information about the performance.
