Question about Canon EF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 IS II USM
Does anyone have experience with this lens on a Sony Alpha 7RII (with Sigma MC-11 adapter)? Is the autofocus usable and how is the image quality?
I bought this lens today and can now answer my own question. Yes, the autofocus is so fast and accurate. In terms of image quality, the lens (together with the Sony Alpha 7RII and the Sigma MC-11) is simply sensational - sharp right into the corners. For me, the lens is a lot sharper than the Sony FE 70-300mm and also much cheaper and lighter.
