Question about Logitech MK540 Advanced

I have a keyboard and mouse on the same laptop in the office and in the home office. This works perfectly. I have not tried whether both keyboards/mice can be used at the same time. It should actually be possible, since the integrated mouse can also be used in parallel. Does that make sense?
