Do I need special drivers to support dual monitors?
With my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) the screens are mirrored which makes the second Hdmi port useless.

This is normal for docking stations that use USB-C technology. In your case, you need a docking station that uses Thunderbolt technology. e.g.
