Question about Huawei 5G CPE PRO 2
This device is up to 4x slower than my mobile phone. Both from the same provider (Sunrise, 1 subscription with two SIM cards). The Huawei and the mobile phone were kept in the same place and tested with the same target host (Speedtest.net). Huawei: Download: up to 234 Mbps Upload up to: 7.5 Mbps iPhone 12: Download: 855 Mbps Upload: 92.1 Mbps ! Can anyone explain this to me? I am totally disappointed about this difference. Especially when you spend a lot of money. PS: the old Huawei with LTE+ was up to 43 Mbps faster in upload.

Technically, 5G goes way up.
It's ridiculous to go below 1GB when it would go several times that.
I can't explain it either. I also had the device for a short time, then I also made such comparative measurements at a location with 5G. I couldn't see any big differences when I made the measurement via the Huawei via the Ethernet port on the laptop. Did you also do it that way? Or via Huawei and then WLAN?
What I also noticed is that if you use device prioritisation, there can be massive losses in performance.

That's up to your provider, or all providers (Sunrise, Swisscom, etc.), because they don't want you to have such a device and notice it as soon as your SIM card is inserted in such a device. Then they'll screw you down.
I had the same problem with my aunt. Then, at a friend's house, I discovered the same device that was ultra fast, from the same provider. Told him he should take the sim card with him, wanted to test it out and tadaaa everything worked with his sim card, because he had subscribed to it in such a way, including the device. Cheeky, but I don't want to name any providers (which starts with Sun and ends with rise), because they all do the same thing.
