Dear Digitecs I would have been grateful for the information that a specific wall adapter with "not less than 5V/1A output power" (operating instructions) would have to be purchased for the bank BEFORE the purchase! 1. the bank is charged via USB-C. Can I also charge it via USB-A - USB-C cable? 2. what is the "electronics explanation" for the fact that the bank may not be charged with an adapter below 5V/1A? Messi for answers
The fact that a power bank does not come with a USB power supply unit can be considered standard. I don't know of any that come with one. Anyone who needs a power bank also has devices (smartphone, tablet, etc.) that are charged with a USB power supply. The powerbank can also be charged with exactly the same USB power supply units. That's why I don't quite understand the "specific wall adapter must also be purchased".
Why do you need such a powerbank? What kind of power supply do you use to charge the device that you want to charge with this powerbank?
1. yes, charging with a USB-A to USB-C cable is possible.
2. 5V is the standard voltage of USB. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki...
A power supply that delivers less than 1A might also work. It would just take longer to charge the powerbank. With 0.5A, for example, the charging time of the powerbank would approximately double.
