Yes, the Strong ROUTER 5G WIFI6 supports Internet access via SIM card, provided there is sufficient mobile phone reception. The manufacturer provides the following information regarding WLAN security: WPA2-PSK, WPA/WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE.
Whether the router works in client mode in hotels, shops and trains depends on the respective infrastructure. If a login via a captive portal website is required and this only takes place when a website is called up, problems could arise. This would require the router to support a pass-through function or MAC address cloning. Unfortunately, we do not have this information.
