Certain versions of the Norton software require a credit card for activation and force the user into a recurring subscription. Can I install this software with the licence key and without a credit card?

I always use the cheapest version of Norton Premium from Digitec.
The installation is always done without a credit card. However, Norton tries to persuade the user to take out a recurring subscription (then with a credit card, of course). This would then make installation in the following year much easier, but you would then also have to pay the much higher price.
