Hi Coburn,

yes, if you are using a mobile charger as a power source, make sure it is fully charged before use. Also be aware of the residual current of the mobile charger during use.

Unfortunately I don't know, I have never tried it.

Yes, that is possible. When connected to a PC via USB, it can even be used as a webcam while the battery is charging.
