Can the stand be removed from the monitor in order to attach a wall bracket instead?

In the specs it says VESA compatible (https://www.lg.com/us...) and on youtube you can find some unboxing videos with monthdays. Here at 05:12 you can see the 4 screws: https://youtu.be/XM8V-t-c7z...
Because of cable management and exposure, it is a bit difficult for me to dismantle the whole thing.

Yes, that is possible. You can assume that monitors with VESA support can also be attached to a wall mount, in which case the wall mount should support VESA 100x100mm.
