Question about Corsair Vengeance

Can one ramstick be better (faster) than the other? I've just built my pc and still have to wait for the ram, so if I buy it quickly now (it's not expensive), I can already test the pc. Will that work, though, because it would be a waste if I just have it lying around? The other one is also a 16gb ddr4 but with 3600mhz.

I don't know. I just wanted to have 16GB for a normal PC for internet. I think the speed is overrated. The main thing is that it works. And you don't mix different types or brands together.
