Can I use my AirPods Pro 1 generation with this adapter. I want to play VR more easily, I'm annoyed by the long cable on the Sony earbuds I'm currently using. And if so, is that a noticeable delay or shouldn't that be a problem?

Yes, it will work. I use it to connect my Airpods to the in-flight audio during flights.

Hi Benji27, yes it should work, I use JBL Wave headphones and it works fine, so it should also work with Air PODs.
Make sure that your AirPods are not paired with another device. Greetings Karl
