Question about Marmitek IR Eye 2 to IR Control Pro 8
Can I connect this cable directly to my AV receiver (Denon 2312) if it has a 3.5 jack infrared input? Or is e.g. an IR Control 8 necessary?

According to the manufacturer, a separate infrared transmitter is necessary. However, it does not necessarily have to be the IR Control 8.
