Can I connect the USB-C power supply to the hub and an external monitor to the other port and supply it with power at the same time? resp. I only have one USB-C port on my laptop and would like to charge it and connect a small Viewsonic VD1655 external monitor and supply it with power at the same time - it should be small and be able to do both

Hello amwstores
I would never have tested such a setup.
According to the data sheet, the hub can provide a maximum of 100W, consumes 15W in operation, making 85W. Your display requires 60W according to the description, leaving 25W. If this is still enough to power your laptop, it could work. But it is probably rather low.
PS. My calculation does not necessarily have to be correct :)

I have my doubts, the USB-C PD supports max. 100W (15W for the hub), I can't say whether the second USB-C provides enough power for the Viewsonic (according to the data sheet it needs 8W) I would loop in a corresponding USB switch between the power supply (100W) and the hub, then you are whs. or better a power supply with two USB-C outputs like digitec GaN 4-Port Fast Charger (130 W) (https://static.digitecgalaxus.ch/Files...)
