Question about Nintendo Switch - Grey

I was able to test the Apple one and nothing worked!

As stupid as that sounds. But the docking station is "just" a fancy cable into which the Switch can be plugged and set up. Therefore, a normal cable also works. It's just less pretty to look at.
I haven't tested it myself yet, as my delivery will probably arrive in about 3 years. Unless Nintendo hurries up a bit with the production :-P. However, there are videos on YouTube.
