Are the three devices in this package identical or is there one main device with WAN connection and the others are only to be used as mesh add-on devices?
Hello Alain, There is a main unit with WAN and LAN connection that can be configured as a "mesh router"! But you can also configure all 3 as an extension and use a "big" ASUS router as a "mesh router"! Thereby "backhaul" connections are also possible wired and if "wireless", then you can even choose whether via 2.4GHz, 5GHz network or automatically! Very good configuration options and a really strong performance! I was positively surprised! When setting up, you should place the devices as you have planned and not directly next to the "mesh router"! Then there is an "optimisation function" in the software and the satellites indicate any existing problems via an illuminated colour code! Super price-performance ratio!
