Question about Google Pixel 3a

According to Google, the Pixel 3a with Android 10 (which I have installed) should be eSIM-compatible and is also described in the help. There you should click on the '+' under Network & Internet to add another SIM. Unfortunately, I don't see a '+' there. Does anyone have any ideas and/or experience with this?

Under Network & Internet, Mobile Network has the +, I'm with swisscom.

the + is under mobile network for me (set it to english)
