I'm afraid I don't know, you'll have to do some research yourself to find out exactly what kind of connection the MB Air15 has.
In any case, this is a SATA SSD, which, as I found out myself, does not work on every M2 port. Some are mixed SATA/NVME and others only NVME, maybe there is only SATA. So check well before buying if it really fits.

AHCI/NVMe modes can be set normally in the Bios (UEFI)... If not, look for the latest update of the Bios/UEFI...
