PWM Control via Motherboard
With the Arctic 10-port fan hub, you can operate and control up to ten 4-pin PWM fans using just one 4-pin connection on the motherboard. The fan hub connects to a free 4-pin port on the motherboard and is powered via SATA from the power supply. All connected fans are then controlled by a PWM signal, with the speed signal of the first fan being read and relayed to the motherboard.
The separate power supply via the SATA power cable ensures a continuous power flow and prevents overloading the 4-pin port on the motherboard. For installation in the case, two self-adhesive Velcro strips and magnetic strips are included. These allow for flexible placement of the hub, for example, on the back of the motherboard tray.
