The distribution cable presented here is for three fans with a 4-pin PWM connector (or 3-pin without PWM), which can be connected to a single mainboard connector or fan controller. The cable with its 4-pin PWM connector can be connected to a 4-pin PWM connector as well as to a classic 3-pin header. When connected to a PWM port on the motherboard, up to three PWM fans are then controlled synchronously and automatically from the motherboard.
