As its name suggests, Hydronaut thermal compound is particularly suitable for water cooling systems, but also feels very comfortable between a CPU and an air cooler, for example. With the Conductonaut, Thermal Grizzly presents a high-performance liquid metal-based paste consisting of a eutectic alloy intended for use at room temperature. Due to a special mixing ratio of the metals tin, gallium and indium, among others, an enormously high thermal conductivity is achieved together with an excellent long-term resistance. Due to the liquid components, even tiny pores and gaps can be levelled and filled, which is only possible to a limited extent with conventional heat conducting paste due to the solid particles. The metallic surface of the cooler and heat sink is wetted.
The Aeronaut thermal compound is an ideal entry-level product with very good effectiveness: The high surface protection and good thermal conductivity of Aeronaut is ideal for all users who want to effectively optimise their cooling system or, for example, replace the thermal compound supplied with the hardware. Although the proportion of metallic elements is somewhat lower compared to other products in the Thermal Grizzly range, Aeronaut also offers reliable and high-performance thermal conductivity. In laboratory tests Aeronaut shows a very long resistance at high temperatures and is gentle to the surface - when the thermal paste is removed there are hardly any micro-scratches on the cooling surfaces in comparison.
