The USB to RS232 cable provides a serial RS-232 High Performance UART 16C550 output. It has been developed to expand a further serial output for PC, small workstation or server via USB 1.1 or 2.0 bus. Due to the simple installation, the computer does not need to be opened and the EX-1301-2F can be installed during operation. The EX-1301-2F is equipped with a 9-pin female connector (DCE) and can therefore be connected directly to the terminal. No more serial cable is needed.

The EX-1311VIS USB to Serial RS-232/422/485 converter in a metal housing provides a high-performance RS-232, 422, or 485 UART 16C550 interface with 15 kV ESD surge protection and 2.5 kV isolation. It is designed to connect serial devices to the USB 1.1 to 3.2 Gen 2 bus of a PC, server, or workstation. The included EX-K1542V cable can be attached to the EX-1311VIS without a screwdriver using knurled screws, preventing accidental disconnection of the cable.
