A high-quality product with minor software shortcomings
The Sonos One is a well-made speaker with excellent sound quality. In addition, the Alexa voice assistant is optionally available, which I use almost daily. Functions such as light, timer, alarm clock etc. can be controlled without any problems, but playing a song, or rather the right one from Spotify via Alexa seems almost impossible. The voice recognition is simply too bad for that. The Sonos app offers many practical functions and is also clearly laid out, but it only works in the in-house WLAN, if at all. That's why I hope that Sonos will make their system accessible from the outside. I have already experienced that I could not deactivate an alarm clock because I was not at home. Despite these small flaws (which could be fixed with future software updates!) I am very satisfied with the product and would buy/recommend the speaker again.
