Actually a great processor but (3 months in use)
In terms of performance, it's an amazing processor with great energy efficiency.
I have been using the processor for some time now and the performance is simply amazing. Especially when you are programming yourself and working through large lists, you really have fun with the 16 cores :)

But three warnings with this setup:
1. it could get uncomfortably warm in summer if you don't have air conditioning.
2. big drawback: the pins arrived bent. I had initially given it 2 stars, but if you look at the other reviews, it must have been a Monday model. Therefore, 1 star back to 3 stars:

I'm an IT system engineer and wrote that I could possibly repair the thing, but I wouldn't want to do that with a processor for this price.
Digitech offered me a 100 chf discount for a defective processor. But I was able to repair it - WARNING: This may void the warranty according to support.
ALWAYS inspect the pins first. if i had put it in the socket like that, there would have been nothing left to save!"
3. the availability is a disaster. With the Intel competition, you get around much faster. (I suspect this is due to the lower demand, but are currently great budget options) on the last point but no guarantee, that can still change...

Interesting.several pins were bent on mine too! (5900x) I can't imagine that the CPUs were packed like that from the factory, but in any case, the latest packaging of the ZEN3 processors is really not the real thing.
At first I thought the mainboard was defective because I couldn't insert the CPU even with light pressure.
After a round of swearing and complaining (I had to wait months for the CPU), I took the time to take a closer look at the mainboard and CPU and discovered the bent pins (in two places). I couldn't send it back because it could have taken months until a new delivery.
