The NWA512x-APs are excellent for operating a small to medium-sized business (SMB) WLAN. The new devices can be used as a standalone solution or centrally managed via a ZyXEL NXC WLAN controller.

With the NWA5121-NI, ZyXEL offers an access point that can operate in either standalone or managed mode. The access points support CAPWAP. Once configured and restarted in managed mode, they search for an NXC controller. If one is present in the LAN, a connection is automatically established.

Also usable as a standalone AP, it features 4 internal antennas, is suitable for use with the NXC WLAN controller, and is preconfigured for standalone mode.
