The XORO SAT>IP Server 8100 converts incoming satellite signals from TV and radio programs into digital signals and transmits them, depending on the configuration, via Gigabit Ethernet/LAN to up to 8 SAT>IP clients (SAT>IP TVs or receivers). If connected to a Wi-Fi-enabled router, transmission can also occur wirelessly to PCs, smartphones, or tablet PCs. The SAT>IP server and the SAT>IP clients must be on the same network to establish a connection.
The device features 4 independently configurable SAT inputs and can be used for single, twin, quad, or quattro satellite systems. The server is compatible with the SAT>IP specification version 1.2 and supports MPEG2/4 SD and HDTV streams. Configuration of the device is convenient and easy via an internet browser. For this purpose, the device has its own password-protected WEB user interface in both German and English.
