The DY 0916 is a cascading multiswitch with 9 inputs for distributing signals from two satellites and terrestrial sources. When used with the separately available power supply DY 70, which provides LNB voltage, the multiswitch can also function as a stand-alone device. The levels are available at 9 cascade outputs for subsequent multiswitches. Standard DVB-S/S2 receivers or TVs with built-in receivers can be connected to the 16 subscriber outputs. Terrestrial signals such as DVB-T/T2, DAB, or FM are also available at each subscriber output. The standby function minimizes energy consumption by activating the multiswitch only when receivers are turned on.
