The 40° Egg Crate Grid for the Rapid Box Octa 26“ and Switch Octa-S by Westcott allows for additional directional control by restricting the beam path of the light source. It also controls spill light and enables selective lighting, meaning you can illuminate areas you want to highlight while keeping light away from areas you don’t want to illuminate. One of the most practical inventions for image creators is the foldable grid. Made from nylon, the grid can be attached to the softbox in seconds using snap buttons and can be folded down to a fraction of its open size for storage and transport in the included bag.
