Following the poems, prose, plays, writings, and autobiography—based on intensive conversations in 1991—the concluding edition of Heiner Müller's works in three volumes features a total of 175 interviews and discussions spanning three decades. The first volume of the conversation section (Heiner Müller, Works 10: Conversations 1) covers the years 1965 to 1987. Among the conversation partners are Walter Höllerer, Urs Jenny, Hellmuth Karasek, Matthias Matussek, André Müller, Klaus Völker, and Uwe Wittstock. The discussions address Müller's plays and their productions, his adaptations, the challenges he faces, and more.
