Watterott BME680 Breakout Humidity, Pressure, Temperature & Air Quality Sensor

The Bosch Sensortec BME680 is one of the latest environmental sensors for humidity, pressure, temperature, and air quality, featuring a digital I2C/TWI and SPI interface. The breakout board includes a voltage regulator and a level shifter for the I2C/SPI interface, allowing the sensor to operate from 3V to 5V. Air quality is returned as a resistance value; the better the air quality, the higher the resistance value. In outdoor conditions, the resistance can rise to approximately 400 to 500 kOhm. To measure air quality, a small heater is integrated into the sensor, which is activated during each measurement. This heater affects the temperature, and if several measurements are taken in quick succession, the temperature reading may be displayed as up to 1.5 °C higher.
