External Monitor for Easy Working
When filming with DSLR and CSC cameras, external monitors are of great importance. Especially the exact focus cannot be assessed on the small camera monitors. A large display, a focus assistant (Peaking), and a zebra marking for overexposed areas are important tools that often determine the quality and professionalism of film recordings.
IPS LCD Display with Full HD Resolution
IPS LCD displays are ideal for filming due to their high color accuracy and vibrant color representation. The IPS technology (In-Plane Switching) reduces the angle dependence of contrast. This results in fewer changes in colors and contrasts even when the viewing angle is altered.
Software Assistants for Technical Support
The walimex pro Director III features all common assistants to support you during your recordings. A focus assistant highlights high-contrast edges in color. With its support, focus pulls can be executed more precisely and quickly. The zebra setting marks overexposed areas. The sensitivity of the brightness indicator can be defined in 5% increments. A histogram additionally helps control the brightness distribution. For optical monitoring of the audio signal, a volume display can be activated. You can also monitor the incoming audio signal acoustically via a 3.5mm jack.
Feedback of the Audio Signal
Feedback can occur when a speaker reproduces the signal from a microphone while the microphone simultaneously picks up that signal again. The signal is amplified, played back through the speaker, creating an electroacoustic loop. The walimex pro Director III is equipped with a speaker box to audibly reproduce recorded footage.
