Camera microphone with hot shoe adapter
This active camera microphone is easily attached to the camera's hot shoe or accessory shoe using the included hot shoe adapter and connected via cable. With just a few adjustments, you can significantly enhance the audio quality of your video recordings! The microphone's cardioid pattern ensures that sounds from the sides and behind the camera are much weaker or even inaudible in the recording. The included furry windscreen eliminates noise from wind, while the shock mount reduces handling noise through its spring suspension of the microphone. The 1/4" thread on the hot shoe adapter allows the microphone to be mounted on a tripod, monopod, or boom pole.
Optimize your film and audio recordings!
The sound of any film recording is just as important as the image. In post-production, improving audio can be particularly challenging if the recording isn't up to par. Even the best cameras' built-in microphones quickly reach their limits, as they cannot capture sound beyond the camera body, DSLR, or smartphone. They are often not directed at the subject and pick up operational noises as well. Therefore, for professional-quality audio recordings, an external microphone that can be positioned independently of the camera is essential. Just as you choose an ideal framing when filming, you should also ensure optimal sound. With this microphone, you will make a significant difference in your recordings.
Top quality in a compact size for the highest demands
The electret condenser microphone covers a frequency range from 35 Hz to 18 kHz. It is mounted on the camera and replaces the built-in microphone. Since it is directed straight at the subject, it features a cardioid pattern. This helps to keep operational noises from the camera away from the recording.
