Fieldbus Coupler Modbus TCP, 4th Generation
The Modbus TCP/UDP fieldbus coupler 750-362 connects the modular WAGO I/O system to Ethernet. The fieldbus coupler detects the plugged I/O modules and creates a local process image from them. The two Ethernet interfaces and the integrated switch enable the wiring of the fieldbus in a line topology, eliminating the need for additional infrastructure elements such as switches or hubs. Both interfaces support autonegotiation and auto-MDIX. The DIP switch allows for the configuration of the last byte of the IP address as well as the reference of the IP address to DHCP, BootP, or a fixed assignment. The coupler is suitable for fieldbus communication in Modbus networks. Additionally, a variety of standardized Ethernet protocols are supported: HTTPS, BootP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, SFTP. An integrated web server provides configuration options and status information for the coupler. The system power supply is connected directly to the coupler, while the field supply is connected via a separate power supply module. 750-362.
