Data sheet Nylon P6 G4 Application: Nylon 6, known as Polyamide 6, is the most widely used technical material for industrial applications, in automotive construction, and in the electrical industry. Due to its excellent properties and the ability to tailor characteristics to specific applications through additives such as glass fibers, minerals, or carbon fibers, it is particularly versatile. Mechanical post-processing is always possible. To utilize these properties in 3D printing, Nylon 6 G4 filaments have been developed.

By producing an industrial compound with the addition of 20% glass fiber with a fiber length of 6 mm, the final product achieves a fiber length of 800-900 µm. Thanks to the specially adapted formulation, no specially equipped printer is required for 3D printing. A hardened steel nozzle starting from 0.4 mm - 0.5 mm is recommended due to abrasiveness. The ideal layer height is 0.20 mm.

Both materials are also available in granule form at any time.

Properties: improved mechanical values, industrial applications, fibers from 6 mm cut glass, very well mechanically post-processable, quality product made in Germany.

Printing temperature: 240 - 280 °C, heated bed temperature approx. 120 °C, cooling 50 - 100%. Warp effect to be noted. Adhesion on the print bed: PEI print plate, Lokbuild glass plate with Printafix. Printing speed: 20 - 40 mm/s.

Spool size: Spool diameter: 200 mm, spool height: 80 mm, hub hole diameter: 53 mm.
