This 15mm wide-angle prime lens from Voigtländer impresses with its extremely compact dimensions and a wide field of view of 110 degrees. The construction of 11 lenses in 9 groups allows for a minimum focusing distance of 50 cm. This enables you to create an impressive dynamic depth of field by cleverly staging a close foreground.

Manual Focus – Individually Focused Images

This lens can only be focused manually. While manual focusing may take longer and is more challenging than working with autofocus, it offers several advantages: it allows you to focus precisely on the point you want, enabling shots that align perfectly with your vision. In situations where autofocus would struggle—such as in low light, on smooth surfaces with little texture, or in foggy weather—you can prefer to focus manually.
