To display precise images with realistic colors, the H1188 is equipped with a 6-segment color wheel. The projector is easy to connect and offers high installation flexibility thanks to vertical lens shift. Furthermore, the H1188 features numerous multimedia connection options such as HDMI v1.4 or MHL for connecting cable/satellite receivers, Blu-ray players, mobile devices, or gaming consoles. Other I/O ports are also plentiful: VGA, S-Video, component and composite, 3D sync, RS-232, and a 12V trigger.
The DLP DarkChip3 and BrilliantColor technology deliver deep blacks and vibrant, colorful images, while the 6-segment (RYGCWB) color wheel ensures excellent color reproduction. The convenient zoom/focus adjustment can be easily operated using a rotary knob. The encapsulated optical unit protects against dust or smoke, and the top-mounted lamp cover allows for easy lamp replacement. The integrated CCD function (Closed Caption Decoding) automatically decodes subtitles from the video signal and displays them.
