Product details
It features two low-dispersion elements that effectively reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringes for a clear, precise image of your subject. You can also focus to infinity, making the lens suitable for portraits with attractive background blur.
The telephoto lens has a much longer focal length than a normal lens. This reduces the viewing angle and photographed objects appear closer and larger than they actually are from the point of view where you are with your camera. This type of lens is therefore particularly suitable for photographing distant objects in full format. In addition, subjects photographed with a telephoto lens can be very well cropped due to the shallow depth of field - highlight the desired subject of your picture by letting the background sink into the blur.
This lens can only be focused manually. Although manual focusing takes longer and is more demanding than working with autofocus, it offers some advantages: It allows you to focus exactly on the point you want, allowing you to shoot exactly what you want. Even in situations in which the autofocus would quickly be overstrained - for example in poor lighting conditions, smooth surfaces with little structure or in foggy weather - you prefer to focus manually.
