Benefits of Cat. 8.1 Technology
The Cat. 8.1 technology offers a range of improvements over previous copper-based network solutions. Data rates of up to 10 Gbit/s are often no longer sufficient. Faster fiber optic solutions are unsuitable for widespread use due to their high costs. Cat. 8.1 patch cables are also suitable for 25 Gbit/s and 40 Gbit/s Base-T Ethernet networks, eliminating the need to bundle multiple 10 Gbit/s Base-T links into a single logical connection. This reduces the number of ports required, saving space, which is valuable in data centers. The maximum bandwidth has also increased to 2000 MHz / 2 GHz.

High-Quality Cable Construction
The conductors of this patch cable are made of copper (CU) and are surrounded by high-quality S/FTP shielding (PiMF). For flawless signal transmission, the RJ45 connectors are shielded and equipped with 3 µ gold-plated copper contacts. This high-quality cable construction enables optimal signal transmission and greater tensile strength of the cable.

LSZH Jacket for Increased Safety
The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable jacket produces very low toxic smoke gases and minimal smoke development in the event of a fire, unlike PVC cables. This makes the cables ideal for indoor installation - they are required in public areas.
