For small network installations, even a half-height network cabinet can often be too large, especially since a suitable location must first be found. In such cases, wall-mounted enclosures are the better solution. They provide ample space for several switches and patch panels and do not require floor space due to their wall mounting. Furthermore, the network administrator can easily check the status of the switches with the appropriate mounting without having to kneel down or unplug a patch cable while sliding on the floor.
