The OM4 fiber will be used for existing 1 and 10 Gb/s applications as well as future 40 and 100 Gb/s applications. Suitable for longer ranges of over 550m at 10 Gb/s and backbones. With an effective modal bandwidth of 4700 MHz-km, the OM4 fiber is also particularly well suited for shorter ranges in data centers and for high performance computing applications.
