Turris MOX G (Super Extension)
The Turris MOX is a unique modular router designed for small and medium-sized businesses, computer enthusiasts, and households that are aware of the risks of the internet. Thanks to its secure default configuration, automatic firmware updates, and an adaptive distributed firewall, the product is very secure. The Turris MOX is also open source and runs on a free Linux operating system (based on OpenWrt) on open hardware. You can purchase a Turris MOX as a complete set (Pocket Wi-Fi, Power Wi-Fi, and Classic) or assemble your own system. For this, you need the MOX Start base set, which you can expand with one or more modules (MOX B, C, D, E, F, and G) and add-ons (MOX Wi-Fi Add-On (SDIO), MOX Wi-Fi Add-On (mPCIe), and MOX PoE Add-On).
Main features of the MOX G (Super Extension) module
With the MOX G module featuring an mPCIe slot, you can connect a compatible Wi-Fi card to achieve significantly higher speeds than with SDIO (we recommend the original mPCIe MOX Wi-Fi Add-On). It also includes a SIM card slot for users considering an mPCIe LTE modem.
Compatibility
The MOX G has the same functions as the MOX B and additionally features a passthrough PCIe bus. This means that two mPCIe cards can be connected to a single set.
This module can only be used as an extension in a set. You need at least the MOX Start. If you combine it with other modules, ensure that they are compatible.
