The TP-Link RE650 AC2600 Wi-Fi Repeater wirelessly connects to a Wi-Fi router and extends its signal with speeds of up to 1733 Mbps to previously unreachable or hard-to-cable areas. The RE650 operates on two frequency bands, supporting more client devices than a single-band device. This dual-band operation allows for the flexibility of two dedicated Wi-Fi networks, which can be assigned different purposes: for example, using 2.4 GHz for emails, chatting, and browsing, while simultaneously engaging in online gaming and video streaming on 5 GHz. The RE650's Gigabit LAN port allows wired network devices without their own Wi-Fi capability, such as Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and smart TVs, to connect to the existing Wi-Fi network. Additionally, the intelligent signal strength indicator helps find the ideal location for the RE650. For added flexibility, it can also be operated as an access point.
