TP-Link MC112CS - Singlemode Transceiver, 10/100 Mbit/s, 1x SC

The MC112CS is a media converter that converts 100BASE-FX fiber optic to 100Base-TX copper media or vice versa. Thanks to WDM technology, the MC112CS requires only one fiber optic cable to send and receive data, allowing you to save half of the cabling costs. The MC112CS is designed according to IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards and is intended for use with singlemode fiber optic cables with SC connectors. It supports the long-wavelength laser specification (LX) at a forwarding rate with full cable speed. The MC112CS operates at 1310 nm when transmitting data and at 1550 nm when receiving data. Therefore, the other device working with the MC112CS should transmit data at 1550 nm and receive data at 1310 nm.

Additional features of this module include the ability to be used as a standalone device (no housing required), Auto-MDI/MDI-X for the TX port, automatic negotiation of duplex mode on the TX port, and status LEDs on the front. The MC112CS transmits over longer fiber distances with singlemode fibers of up to 20 kilometers.
